We've teamed up with our good pals at Goose Island to celebrate Cask Ale Week and bring you two delicious new beers that are perfect for this time of year as we slide into autumn.
Founded in Chicago back in 1988, Goose Island know a thing or two about brewing. These classic British-style, Yorkshire brewed cask ales might come from Magic Rock, but they wouldn't be the same without Goose Island.
Launching at Magic Rock taps, and selected Nicholson's pubs this week, the Migration Series is a limited run available exclusively on draught. Be quick if you want to sample a pint or two before they take flight once more.
GOLDEN ALE - 3.7%
A smooth and sumptuous ale that’s complex, intriguing and fit for any hoppy heart or handpull!
A quintessentially British Ale, combining all the subtleties of an easy drinking pale, with a US style Cascade twist. Soft floral citrus and gentle apricot aromas combine with subtle pine, stone fruits and spice on the tongue.
AMERICAN BROWN- 5.1%
A rich, roasty and marvelously malty tribute to our favourite American beer styles.
Mild and malty with hints of currants, caramel and spices on the nose. This combines with a rich, nutty nuanced taste, a distinguished bitterness and a trickle of dark syrup sweetness. A hug in a glass.
